After over 150 articles and more than 145,000 words written about unmasking Sailor Moon mysteries, I’ve decided it’s time to take Tuxedo Unmasked to the next level in pursuing further Sailor Moon trivia, translating rare interviews, and more.
And I’m hoping you’ll join me on the ride!
For more information on how you can help – and what exciting projects are underway – please take a look at the Patreon page. Thanks, dear reader, for all your support!
As much as I’d like to, I’m kind of strapped for cash right now. But good luck anyways. I’m looking forward to stuff on the video-games.
No worries – I appreciate your thoughts! It’s just nice to know that people are even interested in reading these ramblings at all!
I have always scoffed at bloggers who ask for donations from Patreon but in your case, sir, I will make an exception.
Tuxedo Unmasked is a real rarity. Even though it’s one man’s labor of love it’s as professional as a mass market magazine. It feels appropriate to “subscribe”!
Btw, what’s the scoop on Anime Theorist? Will the rising tide lift all boats?
Thank you for the comment, and for joining Patreon!
To be brutally honest, I’m also usually turned off when I see people start trying to monetize their hobbies. Basically, my outlook is that anything that comes through Patreon is going to be put back into the site (magazines, reference materials, video capture for obscure games). I think that’s best, and most fair, for everyone.
As for AnimeTheorist – I really need to get back to posting there. I have a few half-written articles on other old anime that doesn’t fit in here. Just need to sit down and put fingers to keyboard!
